The mission of The Sam and Adele Golden Foundation for the Arts, Inc. is to become a meaningful resource for the professional visual artist and a significant contributor to the artist’s support system.

A Gathering of Tribes

Vermont Studio Center
The Center located in Johnson, VT is the largest international residency program in the USA. It offers artists the gift of uninterrupted time while working in the fellowship of professional peers.
Artist Brent Holland received funding in 2006 through the Sam & Adele Golden Foundation for the Arts for a 2007 residency.

Weir Farm Art Center
The Art Center was founded to protect the home and studio of artist, J. Alden Weir. One of the core programs of this farm located in Wilton, Ct. is the Artist in Residence.

Their mission is to serve and promote the work of individual artists.
