The Board of Directors of The Sam & Adele Golden FoundationSM for the Arts is excited to share a change in course. In response to a deepening need, an artist residency will soon be built here in New Berlin, NY. A beautiful quiet country setting with an historic barn and 140 acres will provide a place for artists to continue their creative process. This construction will begin in May 2008.
While this residency is under construction, there will be no formal grant application process through the Sam & Adele Golden Foundation as in the past. However, to continue financial support to artists during this construction, a Golden Foundation Fellowship has been established and will be administered from four nationally recognized institutions dedicated to supporting visual artists working in paint. You must contact each of the following residencies to gain information on how to apply.
