During times when Residencies are not in session, the Golden Foundation provides support for visiting artists. This Program allows for public engagement, offering the community access into the creative process. Artists are selected for this program, who have demonstrated by their work and innovation, meaningful new ways to envision artistic practice. Visiting artists may be offered an apartment and/or studio within the Golden Residency. Visiting artists will be required to provide presentations, sharing their expertise and work with the community and local artists. These shorter stay periods at the Golden Foundation Residency will allow creative engagement for both artist and our community.
Visiting Artist candidates are selected from around the world through an invitation-only nomination process. The Golden Foundation does not accept direct applications for our Visiting Artist Program.
